NAAP<>ABBY Grant Program

Ambient Activity is pleased to announce a grant program to support the adoption of ABBY, evidence-based resident engagement technology.

By providing residents living with dementia an opportunity for independent engagement, ABBY reinforces personal identity, promoting emotional wellbeing, cognitive stimulation and physical activity. ABBY requires little help from cargivers and is always available to residents, mitigating behavioral challenges, reducing cargiver stress, and improving quality of care.

Eligible applicants:

This opportunity is open broadly to legally incorporated provider organizations, partnerships, or private corporations organized on a for-profit or not-for-profit basis, and who are involved in long-term and/or elder care. Organizations must provide memory care services and have a dedicated, trained activities professional on staff.

Grant terms:

Ambient Activity anticipates awarding grants to three or more projects. The project period is 6 months, post installation. Ambient Activity will provide grants in the form of an ABBY kiosk, consulting services, training, and support. At the conclusion of the grant period, the grantee will have the option of purchasing the ABBY at 50% of the purchase price ($xxx) or returning the unit.
